This plate depicts a 1962 Mercury Meteor. Every piece that you see on this plate came from an ad for the Mercury Meteor in a 1962 LIFE magazine- even the background image came from the same magazine. Each piece was individually cut out, and pressed to this plate using Modge Podge.
